Responsibilty
simple word big meaning
Something that I always struggle to completely comprehend

But one more thing that I understand

The lesson goes like this
I asked my supervisor to borrow a tool that somewhat she needed too
She gave me an alternative to that tool... it works but not as great as the one I requested for
As I walked away... she grabbed me and asked if I would like to switch the one I had with the one I requested
I was a lil bit surprised so I asked her.. to be sure if she really did not need that "tool"
She said "You need it more than I do"
I was touched haha :P

She then said more... "It's not about your project or my project.. this is about the whole company... every project is for the company... that's why we should help each other out"

Wow... I told myself as I could say no more

I kept repeating those words in my head as I was driving home
and think...

Maybe all this while I only see small part of my responsibility and forget the big picture
I like to think as long as I do my part... as long as my work is done then I have taken care of my responsibility
It's common in work place where people compete with one another to show the best they can be...
But in fact they forget to bring the best out of the company.. which means to bring the best out of other people too

It's a valuable lesson
In fact whenever I feel too much burden on my shoulder... I look back... see what everyone else is doing... and I face forward again with a smile on my face and say

"Let us all do our part"
